Food cost inflation has taken a toll on those already struggling to feed their families. In the past three years, The Food Pantry at Good Shephard has grown exponentially, from serving 3-4 families per week to serving an average of 65 families per week, or 250 people. Everyone who comes to the Pantry is given a bag of healthy food items: cereal, pasta, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken – and fresh breads and produce donated from local supermarkets. Those in need come every week, and they share how much the Pantry’s support has helped them through the hard times.

As a dedicated member of the community, CB Capital Advisory recognizes the importance of giving back and supporting local initiatives. The Food Pantry at Good Shepherd's Episcopal Church plays a crucial role in providing food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the Tequesta area.

"We are honored to sponsor the 24th Annual Run 4 the Pies," said Chris Barkauskas, Founder of CB Capital Advisory. "This event not only brings the community together but also supports a vital cause. We are committed to making a positive impact and are proud to contribute to the Food Pantry’s mission of helping those in need."

The Run 4 the Pies event features a four-mile run, drawing participants and spectators from across the region. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Food Pantry, helping to ensure that it can continue to serve the community effectively.
